How to create Blurt accounts yourself without vouchers

Coupon-based Account Creator is a great method to quickly, without third-party involvement, invite new users to our network.

However, I’d like to remind all current Blurt users that if you don’t have a voucher and need to quickly create an account for someone, there is still a creator that allows any user to create accounts independently.

This of course requires bearing the costs associated with creating an account yourself, but what are a few BLURT compared to having our friends and acquaintances with us on Blurt 🤩

How does it work?

Well, just like in the image — we fill in the fields in order:

Username for the newly created account. We generate new keys for the account, download them and save them in a safe place. Then we can give that downloaded package to the person for whom we’re creating the account. Next, the person who is creating the account — that is, you — must provide your existing username. It would also be good to give some additional tip for the account being created, so that it has at least 5–10 BLURT to start with to post something. Finally, to create the account, you just need to validate this transaction with your Active Key if we already have all the keys in WhaleVault, we leave this field empty .

This transaction currently costs around 100 BLURT which are burned in the creation process.

Click “create account” and voilà — the account for your colleague/cousin/sister/friend is ready. :

I therefore encourage you to get acquainted with this creator, because although it’s already a bit old, I have the impression that many people have no idea that an account on Blurt can be created by anyone who already has an account ;
